Avoca Sands Café Bar

My partner and I are are recent locals to Avoca, and this is our favourite cafe! The food is absolutely amazing with so many great options and a really unique menu that has clearly had a lot of thought put into it! The view is great and I love how easy the online system is that you can order and pay for your meal with from the table.

Awesome place to get takeaway and sit by the ocean. You can order via QR code and they text you when it’s ready which makes life SO EASY. Friendly staff even on a very busy Easter Friday. Bacon and egg roll was excellent

Great location and good food right on the beach. You can order from the QR code at your table or from the front counter and your dog is welcome. My scrambled eggs on sourdough was good but not great (the eggs were a bit overcooked), my wife loved her smashed AVO on toast and my son's eggs Benedict was very good. A great place to people watch at the beach.

Amazing location to grab a coffee and breakfast while listening to the waves crash on the beach. Very relaxing and an hour disappeared before I knew it. Coffee was great. Food was fresh and delicious. Will be back again. Order at the counter or grab a table and use the QR code. The only downside is getting here and parking can be difficult at such a popular spot.

My mother-in-law and I popped into this café late this afternoon (17/06/25) - admittedly, right before closing (which I get is the most annoying time) but were blown away by how welcoming the staff were. Despite the timing, both the girl and guy working went out of their way to accommodate us. There was absolutely no sense of being rushed out the door and they made us feel genuinely welcome and relaxed. We grabbed a couple of coffees and Portuguese tarts, which were great, but what really stood out was the service. The guy looking after us was especially friendly and incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Based on this experience alone, I’ll definitely be back - next time for a proper meal! Highly recommend.

Dined at Avoca Sands Cafe last week for lunch and was impressed by the courteous and helpful staff and the fantastic food. I sampled the Calamari & Prawn Salad with Sweet Potato Chips - and my companion had the Quesadilla. All was delicious and served with a surprisingly good, fresh salad. Will definitely be returning with others now that I've sampled the menu and I found pricing quite reasonable and the sheltered view over the beach was great. Many thanks for the highlight of my day. *Highly recommended.
